Pure Celtic Moods (1998)
An evolutionary step up from Fir Na Keol's first successful album "Celtic Moods". This project incorporates Oboe and Cor Anglais into a range of new sounds from the string orchestra to the glorious choral poetry of Aontas, legendary percussionist Tommy Hayes and the beautiful celtic voice of Meav.
Again combining old and new, familiar and original music which makes this album something special and different in Celtic spectrum. From the haunting "Gabriel's Oboe" from the movie "The Mission" to the classic "She Moved Through The Fair" in a new version "Pure Celtic Moods" is a uniquely enjoyable experience.
